Jusie Lydia Siega Sur

Jusie Lydia Siega-Sur, former Dean of the University of the Philippines Manila School of Health Sciences, participated in developing a Framework for Evaluation of Social Accountability in Medical Education with Training for Health Equity Network. She is also a member of the International Reference Group on the Global Consensus on Social Accountability in Medical Education and a United Nation Population Fund Technical Consultant for the Ministry of Health in Timor-Leste.  

Since 1987, Professor Siega-Sur has completed numerous fellowships, including those with WHO, JICA, and UNFPA and most recently with Duke University and the National University of Singapore on team-based learning. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, magna cum laude, from Silliman University College of Nursing in 1979, and a Masters of Health Professions Education in 1989 from the National Teacher Training Center for the Health Professions at the University of the Philippines, Manila.
